From the front of the house the eye is immediately drawn to the grand front entrance with double doors and bespoke stone portico and the 3.2-meter-tall feature timber sash window that resides above it. No less impactful across the rest of the front of the property the Georgian timber sash windows that stand over 2 meters tall in height draw focus with their size and symmetry.
At the rear of the property there are a more Georgian sash windows in the reception rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms with the master bedroom featuring timber French doors for those warmer summer nights. On the ground floor the timber bifold doors, timber French doors and sliding patio doors bring this classical home into the 21st century with modern living concepts that connect the indoor and outdoor spaces. The large panes of glass in these modern door styles flood the rear of the home with natural light and the 8-section curved bay window gives a beautiful view of the large gardens from the formal dining room.
Attention to detail and flawless quality was key for this project and it was because of this that it went on to win the What House award for Best Luxury House after completion.
Each window was drawn and visualised in fine architectural detail as we worked closely with the design team at Aspire Luxury properties to bring the property to life. Over 600 individual panes were drawn and scaled by our lead technical project manager to ensure symmetry across the windows and doors and feature ovolo mouldings and 25mm ovolo bars that divide the panes of the glass. In keeping with the classical era, the windows and doors were all factory finished in our environmentally friendly water-based paint in subtle traffic white RAL 9016.
