Choosing the Right Timber Tilt & Turn Window
Bereco bespoke Tilt & Turn windows are practical, versatile and operate in 2 ways; they can open or turn inwards, or they can tilt inwards by a turn of the handle.
Scandinavian Design & performance
Clean Scandinavian design and the ability to open inwards for easy cleaning make these the perfect choice for 3 story contemporary homes, flats and apartments.
Our tilt and turn windows are Secured By Design and Part Q compliant with exceptional airtightness and Uw values from 0.8W/m²K, perfect for EnerPHit (Passivhaus retrofit) projects and new build low energy homes.
Make an impact
The inward opening design of our timber tilt and turn windows mean they are great for not only designing something visually stunning but give excellent ventilation and allow for external shading and shutters to be used.
The concealed hinge system, concealed trickle vents and our unique external timber drainage design mean that we don’t have aluminium or plastic bottom beads that detract from the clean lines of the frames. This unique detail means that the design is completely manufactured from timber on the outside.
Totally bespoke sizes and design. Opening windows can be supplied up to 1.5 metres wide and 2.4 metres high, with fixed lights available up to 2.5 metres wide by 2.4 metres high.
Add a splash of colour
Every tilt and turn window is beautifully factory finished using the most environmentally friendly water-based paint or stain. Choose from any RAL Classic, RAL Design, NCS and BS colour charts or match to Farrow & Ball, Earthborn or Fired Earth colour collections.
With single or dual colour options you can create the perfect match to the exterior facade and interior decor of the property.
Tilt and turn windows are also often used to imitate sash windows, particularly when escape access is required for compliance with building regulations and the clear opening cannot be achieved with sash windows. Customise with contemporary or traditional mouldings and bars.
Solar control ultra-clear glazing can be incorporated to neutralise the effects of the sun and can aid in avoiding overheating in large expanses of glazing.
For a splash of colour you can also add a coloured tint; choose from Blue, Green and Bronze colours. Perfect for low energy homes with centre pane Ug values from 0.5W/m²K.
Handles & Locks
Our timber tilt and turn windows come with our contemporary connoisseur handle that is available in a choice of 5 different colours Polished Chrome, Satin Chrome, Brass Plated, Black and White.
Choose windows that don’t cost the earth.
Our tilt and turn windows are naturally renewable, carbon neutral and made from only sustainably sourced FSC 100% certified softwood or hardwood. The care and attention we give to our timber before and during the manufacturing process ensures a 60 year+ life span, 10-year warranty and low maintenance for life.
