Covid-19 Update & FAQ
We hope you are safe and well in these most uncertain times and want to bring you up to speed with what we have been doing since our reopening and with what’s new at Bereco.
Many of our staff including our sales, estimating and technical teams are working from home but you can still reach us on our normal phone lines, you can also email or DM us using the live chat icon on our website or if you are really embracing the new ways you can make a virtual one to one appointment to discuss your project, quote or order with us.We continue to make deliveries of your windows and doors and have contactless delivery procedures in place to keep you and our delivery drivers safe but our sales and showroom appointments have been temporarily suspended as have our site services.
Our offices reopened on Monday 11th May 2020 and whilst we have made some changes to the way in which we work to improve our service and introduced new procedures that ensure the safety of our staff and our customers we are still offering the same high quality timber windows and doors made from only sustainable 100% FSC certified wood and continue to do so on a 6-8 week lead time from order.
During our period of closure, we established new safe working practices that would allow us to return to operations. Practices and procedures that were implemented immediately upon our reopening. You can read more about how we are protecting our staff and customers here. If you would like to know more; we are more than happy to share our risk assessments with you just email Craig Morris at firstname.lastname@example.org

You can now chat to us via the live chat on our website, call us, email us, fax us and you can now video call us at a time that is convenient for you using our online video call appointment booking system.

We appreciate that this may be a concerning time to be paying deposits for any products not just windows and doors. To give you some confidence on this we recommend checking the financial data available on Companies House where the balance sheets are readily available for all UK businesses. We also highly recommend making this part of your pre-selection process when choosing a supplier in future and choosing a company that has the most current posted accounts and positive net current assets and a liquidity ratio of 2.0 and higher.
Whilst this data might not be up to the minute it’s a great indicator of a business’s ability to finance its day to day operation (so they won’t need your cash).
The joinery sector in the UK is made up of mostly small businesses; several though including Bereco are larger and operate on a national basis. Bereco Ltd and Bereco Retail Ltd are both trading companies held under the Bereco Group with a combined turnover of £13 million annually; net assets of £1,945,554 and a liquidity ratio of 2.26.
