Bereco Reopening 11th May 2020
I hope that this finds you and your family, friends and colleagues safe and well. Over the last few weeks, we have been working to establish new safe working practices that would allow us to return to operations and with this I’m pleased to report in having done so that Bereco will be reopening on Monday 11th May 2020 at 9am.
If you have an order being manufactured with us currently
On Monday 11th May 2020 both our manufacturing and our delivery programme will recommence.
For those of you who have an order in production our logistics team will be in contact with you starting this week to establish if you are accepting deliveries at this time, to explain our new contactless delivery procedures and to discuss any procedures you too may have in place that we need to be aware of on delivery. A revised delivery date will be established from this and communicated to you w/c 11th May.
If you would normally collect your orders from us at our depot we will be in touch to make arrangements for us to deliver to you as our premises remain restricted to staff and suppliers only until further notice.
If you have an order you were working to finalise with your technical project manager or have placed a new order with us during closure
If you were working on an order with your technical project manager before our closure they will be contacting you in the coming week to pick up where you left off and subject to our normal sign off procedures will begin sending any new orders to production from Monday 11th May 2020.
We will be contacting all of our customers that have placed an order with us during both during closure and before to establish your plans for needing windows and doors on site. Understanding when you will be needing windows and doors will help us to manage workloads efficiently in the coming months particularly as we enter the busy summer period so please look out for our call.
Our lead time remains 6-8 weeks but subject to demand this could fluctuate in the coming weeks. We will keep our current lead time updated on the homepage of our website.
If you have sent a new enquiry for pricing during our time away
Our estimating department will reopen on Monday 11th May 2020 at 9am. Our sales and estimating team will be contacting you in the coming week to discuss the requirements of the project you have requested a price for to ensure that in quoting for you we give you our best price and can plan for and manage future volumes in production.
Visiting our showroom and sales appointments
Our showroom will remain closed to the public until further notice but you will be able to visit our showroom and check out our products in our new virtual showroom coming soon to the Bereco website. Keep an eye out for more news on this and virtual sales appointments in the coming weeks.
If you have an issue with your windows and doors
All of our onsite services were suspended on Monday 23rd March 2020 as we entered the lockdown and for now will remain suspended until further notice due to the impact of social distancing.
Despite our being unable to attend site physically at the moment we are pleased to announce that from Monday 11th May 2020 we are introducing virtual site visits to our aftercare services. Our new virtual site visits will allow us to remotely visit you to make a first-hand assessment of the issues raised and to agree an action plan for resolution.
If you had a site visit scheduled with our service team prior to our closure and we had to postpone your appointment our customercare manager will be making contact with you w/c 11th May 2020 to schedule a suitable time to video call you to virtually revisit your site too.
Our new virtual site visits will help us diagnose, review and resolve any issues you may be experiencing whilst protecting both our staff and yours during the continuing pandemic.
If you are waiting for a warranty certificate
If you have registered for your warranty during our closure we will start to return these from Monday 4th June 2020. If you have made an application and need your warranty certificate sending urgently then please email the customercare team at firstname.lastname@example.org
