This charming home was built in the late 1800s and resides in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the county of Buckinghamshire. Our clients moved into this timeless property in 2017, having purchased it with a plan to renovate it due to its single-glazed windows. Bereco were first approached in October 2022 with the client’s full renovation and extension project plans, where one of their primary goals was to restore the exterior to reflect the home’s original appearance. The extension was undertaken first, with the renovation of the existing property to follow at a later date.

RAL 9010 Pure White

The clients elected for our Survey, Supply & Installation service designed for extensions, self-builds and renovation projects where the windows and doors are to be fitted into preprepared openings. Learn more about the three services that Bereco offers for homeowners here. The process starts with a consultation with our Design team providing a quotation and visuals of the new windows and doors overlayed onto the client’s plans and photos. They then progressed through the survey stage which is always carried out by our Installation team to introduce themselves to the clients and familiarise themselves with the property. As with all Bereco orders, our clients were supported by their dedicated Project Manager, who guided them through each stage to ensure the design and details were exactly as they envisioned before manufacturing began.

Bereco Traditional Flush Casements were selected, featuring internal ovolo mouldings, external putty line style design and 16mm lambs tongue bars, which beautifully matched the original windows. Our classic Antique Monkey Tail window handles were utilised to match the furniture on the existing windows and provide a beautiful contrast to the RAL 9010 Pure White finish.

The French Doors were supplied in matching RAL 9010 Pure white with our elegant Barrington handles in black to match the Flush Casement windows. In contrast, the Entrance Door and Sidelights make a bold statement, finished in our exclusive Heritage Smoke colour and complemented with Polished Brass ironmongery. The cottage bar styling in both the door leaf and sidelights enhances the home’s traditional charm.

We replaced the window that our designers and construction team had ordered from Potton as it was far too high and small. I ordered a much bigger window direct from Bereco. They were extremely helpful and kept in touch regularly, helping us by bringing the date forward as we needed the replacement window urgently to allow work to progress.
