Bereco Launch World Land Trust Donation Scheme

Bereco are pleased to announce that as of 3rd July 2017, we are partnering with World Land Trust to help raise funds to support their vital conservation work around the world.

Pioneering the ‘Buy an Acre’ concept of purchasing land for conservation World Land Trust and its partners have purchased and protected in excess of 600,000 acres and manage over 4 million acres of land under active protection.

At Bereco we feel that the protection of our forest and the wildlife that call it home is so very important; particularly knowing that forest the area of a football field is being destroyed every 2 seconds worldwide for illegal logging and the growing of cash crops such as palm oil.

We really connected with the efforts of the World Land Trust and we simply want to do more as a business. We already only use FSC 100% timber in the manufacture of our windows and doors this is another way we can help protect our planet and rainforest from deforestation.

What Bereco are doing.

We have set ourselves the goal of purchasing 1000 acres a donation amount of £100,000 for World Land Trust by the end of 2018. The counter on our homepage will be updated monthly showing our progress in achieving this target so you can see just how we are doing.

For the small donation of £50 from you together we can ‘Buy an Acre’.

Upon ordering Bereco timber windows and doors we will be asking you to make a donation to the ‘Buy an Acre’ scheme from World Land Trust. With 1 acre of land for conservation able to be purchased for the small amount of just £100 Bereco will then match any donation made ‘pound for pound’.

When you donate a certificate confirming our combined donation and the number of acres we have purchased together will be provided along with your invoice for your windows and doors.

All monies raised will be paid to World Land Trust on a monthly basis so keep a check on our news feed for monthly updates on how we are getting on.

We ask for your help in promoting a scheme which will benefit not only our generation but future generations and out planet.
