Design Features

•
 Material
With a fully drained and vented system all doors are 68 mm thick solid timber in either redwood or hardwood (DRM). This additional thickness adds to the overall quality helping to improve thermal qualities.
•
 DRM hardwood thresh
The threshold is made from solid DRM hardwood as standard.
•
 Cover caps
Cover caps are supplied as standard to cover all hinges on all doors available in either white or brown.
•
 3D adjustable security hinges
This security feature of the hinges ensures doors cannot be unhinged from the outside. Doors have to be opened 90 degrees for the screws to be reached. In addition keepers are all adjustable.
•
 Laminated Glass
Bereco doors use laminated glass as standard in both panes ensuring both safety and security aspects are taken into account.
•
 Multi Point Espagnolette Locking Supplied as standard, multi point espagnolette locking provides the safest locking system for your door and is key operated reducing wear on handles.
•
 Pre Hung
All doors are pre hung in their frame as standard.







 

Open In Thresh Options

Note: When sidelights are coupled to doors, cill extensions are supplied in continuous lengths so no joints are visible.

The maximum recommended overhang over the brickwork is 25mm.

 

Open Out Thresh Options

• Threshold Options
When choosing thresh detail the circumstances under which it is to be used will determine the type used. Three options for both opening inwards and outwards doors are shown above.

Clearance required to achieve part M of building regulations is 775m clear opening. This requires a door overall frame width of 943mm. A mobility threshold would be quoted as standard for any door requiring compliance with this regulation.

• Operation
Factory hung to open either inwards or outwards. All opening out doors include restrictors as standard.

• Ironmongery
Handles, Letter Plates, Spy Holes, Door Knockers, available in either brass or chrome to match window hardware.

• Design
- Raised and fielded panels (See diagrams 2,7,9,12,23,28)
- Timber plant on panels (See diagrams 1,4,8,10,19,29)

• Paint / Stain
Dual colour is available as with our others products however on entrance doors
frames can be different to the door leaf depending on your requirements.

French Doors Design Options

French doors can be either fully glazed units or they can incorporate solid horizontal transoms and stick on bars to any design of your choice.
