The Lipped Casement, often referred to as 'stormproof,' is manufactured with the opening sash proud of the frame to give excellent gasket compression and the best weather rating available.

Curved Head

On two light narrow windows where fire escape is required, the mullion is fitted to the sash allowing maximum clearance.

Dummy Sashes

A non opening light where sightlines look as though a sash is fitted in the frame.

Night Vents

A device with a secondary keep position for locking cams. Allows windows to be ajar whilst still locked.

Complete Gasket Seal

Gaskets around sashes and frames ensure weather tight seals. Compresses when handles engage and windows are shut.

Anti Prise Clips

Fixed to the middle of sashes and frames these are an enhanced security device.

Anti Warp Clips

Fixed to the top and bottom of sashes and frames, these are an enhanced security device.

Fixed Lights / Direct Glazed

A non opening glazed light where sightlines allow the greatest glass area.

Groove for Window Board

A rebate to allow location for the window board on the inside of the frame section.

Trickle Vents

A very small hole in the window frame covered by opening vents to allow natural ventilation. Reducing the risk of condensation, these are covered by Part F Building Regulations.

24mm Glazing Unit

The optimum thickness of unit for thermal effiency. This is the overall width of the glass unit.

Friction Hinges

Attaching the sash to the frame, these will allow the sash to remain in any position opened to due to the friction element. Available in various easy clean or egress versions.

Espanolette Locking

A locking device fitted to the sash which engages into keeps in the frame. Operated by the handle, this secure method of locking is mandatory for highest security levels.

Side Hung

Hung vertically and hinged at the sides, this style opens out with handings showing the direction of swing.

Top Hung

Hung horizontally, this style opens/swings out like an awning.
