BM Trada PAS 23/24 Door Scheme

All Bereco Entrance doors are designed and tested to meet the following performance and security standards:


  • PAS 23-1:1999 General performance requirements for door assemblies
  • PAS 24:2007 Enhance security performance requirements for door assemblies.
The Q Mark Enhanced Security Door Scheme was introduced to support the testing requirements for Secured by Design (SBD), the police initative to reduce crime on housing developments.

This scheme involves incorporating crime prevention measures at the design stage, which are then independently certified by a recognised third party such as BM Trada

The schemes aims are to:
  • Raise the on-going standard of door security
  • Ensure on-going compliance to tested specifications
  • Ensure complance with SBD
